Casa Del Sol, a contemporary Mediterranean residence in Ibiza, Spain

Introduction

The Designs

A series of low white volumes steps with the terrain, gathering the living spaces around shaded patios rather than a single enclosed core. Limestone floors continue onto the terraces, deep reveals temper the western light, and oak joinery brings a tactile warmth to the deliberately spare interior palette.

Conclusion

The house is designed less as an object on the coast than as a sequence of places to occupy throughout the day. Its rooms, courts, and terraces create a relaxed rhythm between shelter and exposure, pairing contemporary clarity with the slower material language of the island.
